His Excellency Xu Guangchun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, emphasized in his speech “Realizing the beautiful future cooperation among China, Germany and Nigeria by bridging Asia, Europe and Africa through Parchim International Airport”.
Dr. Lutz Werner, Director of International Cooperation of German Federal Government Ministry of Commerce and Technology; Mr. Iredi, Mayor of Parchim Regional District; Mr. Ulrich Unger, Chairman of Schwerin Chamber of Commerce; Ambassador Idris Waziri, Nigeria Former Minister of Commerce and WTO vice Chairman; Mr. Sani Abubakar, Deputy Governor of Taraba State of Federal Republic of Nigeria attended the forum and delivered exciting speeches.
Parchim International Airport is located in-between the 2 major cities of Berlin and Hamburg in Germany in the area of Hamburg Port and seaports of North Germany in the region of Baltic Sea. The Chinese famous international logistics company LinkGlobal Group acquired the Parchim International Airport through an international bidding process.

Dr. Lutz Werner, Director of International Cooperation of German Federal Government Ministry of Commerce and Technology said in his speech: Today’s event will be remembered as a milestone. It is a very special day and full of success. China and Germany has a long history friendship. The Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited Germany and had friendly and close discussion with our German Chancellor Angela Merkel in January this year. The agreement between our two countries has been signed to promote the business cooperation. Parchim International Airport played a very important role in Germany. The development of Parchim Airport has attracted the attention of the public. Ambassador Idris Waziri, Nigeria Former Minister of Commerce and WTO vice Chairman said in his speech: Nigeria is the biggest country in Africa in term of population with 140 million people. It is rich in agriculture and mineral resources. China and Nigeria has long traditional friendship. The two countries trade and cooperation will improve the understanding and friendship between the countries. We are confident about the future of Parchim International Airport.
