Neubrandenburg holds Forum of "PIA & Bonded Business Park"

On December 9, 2008, Parchim International Airport and its partner Goodman Group, together with the German Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (BVMW), held the Forum of "Parchim International Airport & Bonded Business Park" in Neubrandenburg, a city of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern that is near Berlin. Entrepreneurs of manufacturing industry and international trade from southern Germany attended the forum.

The forum is held on an annual basis. The participants of this year’s forum included the mayor of Neubrandenburg Mr. Paul Krueger, Mr. Werner Kuhn from EU Parliament and nearly 100 member companies of BVMW. President of LinkGlobal International Logistics Group Mr. Pang Yuliang and Mr. Nico Hannemann from Goodman Group made presentations respectively on the general plan of Parchim Airport bonded logistic park and industrial park. They explained how the parks support each other and work in harmony. And in particular, they illustrated how Parchim airport bonded business parks and their counterparts in Nanjing High-tech Zone interact with each other through the concept of "Inside customs, outside territory & outside customs, inside territory". 

The participants agreed with the world leading plan of Parchim airport bonded parks, and talked about how to make use of it to promote economic cooperation between enterprises in China and in Germany. Many of them want to find cooperative partners from China in Parchim airport bonded parks. And some enterprises expressed the initial intent of doing business in branches of Parchim airport bonded parks in Nanjing High-tech Zone, and called for business visits to Nanjing High-Tech Zones in the near future.

Neubrandenburg is the third largest as well as an important industrial city of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
